About The Church Growth Institute
The Church Growth Institute was founded by Dr. David Stein to help churches grow by carrying out the Great Commission of Mt 28:18-20 which Jesus Christ gave to his church and to those who would follow in his steps— his disciples. This mission continues the work of Donald McGavran and serves in the tradition of C. Peter Wagner, Win Arn and Gary McIntosh. Church Growth Consulting is the centerpiece of our services, yet this website also contains related resources, information, and links which may be of interest from time to time.
In addition to growing the numbers of your congregation, it is equally important that your church receives guidance by leadership that is engaged, authentic and sustainable. At the Church Growth Institute, our work speaks to the size of your congregation as well as the quality of its ministry. We work with church leaders, their staff and other ministry leadership to cultivate a strongly moral leadership that is invested in pastoral longevity. These principles, when combined with our church growth consulting services, develop your church into one that can rely on pastors and staff who truly connect with God’s message and are inspired to share that connection with others.
Dr. Stein studied forty years of church growth characteristics in his doctorate dissertation which has given him a deep understanding of what makes churches thrive. In his case studies, he has identified the challenges that modern-day churches face and developed a plan to overcome them. The Church Growth Institute works with ministry leaders to understand their vision, values, and goals. We are attuned to every facet of what successful church growth and leadership means, from the logistics of growth to the values of leadership.
